First Things First
Forgiven. You can be free.
Many people miss the point, that though man rebelled against God and broke His laws, God loved us so much that He went to incredible lengths to redeem us and reconcile us into relationship with Him.
All have sinned. Romans 3:23
Death is the penalty for sin. Romans 6:23. You must give account of what you have done, to a holy and just Judge, and receive punishment, like in any court of law. Hebrew 9:27. Eternal death is Hell, torment, darkness, prison.
But as you consider your crimes against God’s order and law, God wants you to know that loves you. He paid the penalty of your sin for you. He sacrificed His own Son, Jesus, who died in your place, and gives you His life. A great exchange. But death could not hold Him, because He is perfect and eternal, and He rose again, to plead mercy for you before the Father. His own Blood cries mercy for you and me. All sin is paid for in full. Death is conquered. Chains are broken. Lives restored. You can have this!
How to refuse such a great gift? How to say no to eternal life, no to the great Creator and Lover of our souls? To opt to bear your own sin forever apart from His love?
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. John 3:16-17
Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved. Acts 16:31
That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. Romans 10:9
If you have understood your need to turn from your sin and be reconciled to God, and want eternal life and Heaven, I invite you to pray right now. Your prayer can be something like this:
Father God, I admit that I have sinned against you. Please forgive me. I turn from my sin, and accept Jesus as my Saviour. Thank you for loving me so much that you made a way for me to become free, be made right with you and have relationship with you. Amen.
The Bible says that if we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 1 John 1:9
I encourage you to read the Bible, and discover all that God has to say to you.
